Taos Pueblo
 _________
Taos Pueblo in northern New Mexico has been continuously occupied by Native Americans for nearly seven centuries.  It's the northernmost of New Mexico's 19 Indian pueblos and is a National Historic Monument.  The natives are friendly if a little commercial.  Tourism is a major source of income for them since they don't offer casino gambling like many other  Indian reservations in New Mexico.  The buildings are authentic in construction and architectural style.
