Key West

- Key West, Florida is an island full of attitudes. Most of them are
humorous. I guess if you live only 90 miles from the last true Communist
country you need to develop an attitude. Key West hasn't changed a whole lot
since Hemmingway frequented Captain Tony's. The locals call themselves Conch's
and refer to Key West as the Conch Republic. Key West once tried to secede
from the United States without much success but some say they managed to secede
mentally. There's a lot of color on the island and it's a great place to visit.
