These are Blue Christmas Tree Worms. They are less than 1/2" tall and are extremely sensitive to any disturbance in the water. You really have to sneak up on them. Even breathing through a regulator will cause them to instantly pull back into their shells. They come in a variety of colors (including green) but I like the blue ones the most. I shot these in the Sea of Cortez near Cabo San Lucas. |
